Learning for everyone
What we do to make GenAlpha usable by everyone, what is not there yet, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Our commitment
We want every learner, trainer and organization to be able to use GenAlpha, including people with disabilities and people on slow connections or older devices.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our design target. We have not yet completed a formal external accessibility audit, so some parts of the platform may not fully meet it yet.
What you can use today
- Text size (small, normal, large), high-contrast mode and reduced motion, in the learner dashboard under Settings → Accessibility.
- Light, dark or system theme.
- Interface in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Video captions when the trainer provides them, including automatically generated captions the trainer can review.
- Adjustable video playback speed, lower video quality and a sound-only mode for slow connections.
- Lessons you can save on your device to study without an internet connection.
- An AI assistant that explains how to use the platform, in your language.
Known limitations
- Captions and transcripts depend on each trainer, so not every video has them yet.
- Some interactive content made with third-party tools (for example H5P or SCORM activities) may not be fully accessible.
- Display preferences are currently available in the learner dashboard only.
- Keyboard and screen-reader support is still being improved on some older pages.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on GenAlpha is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Write to contact@genalpha.tn or use the contact form, and include the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use.
If you cannot access a course or a document, contact us and we will work with the trainer to find an alternative where possible.
